Many others that I know of don't tend to clean out their emails, and it piles up in the thousands, or whatever amount it can build on. I am not sure how this ended up the way it did, but I landed on my old blog that I started when I studied aboard in Spain. Within the blog, I linked my pictures that were taken during that trip from a site called Kodak Gallery.
Kodak Gallery was acquired by Shutterfly in 2012, and they were "instructions" to access your photos as they were transferred over. Over the years, I was never able to access them until tonight. It is currently 12:10am on Monday September 2nd, and I did a few Google searches that I knew I've done before but I thought maybe one more try can maybe make a difference. Boy, am I glad to have done so.
When I scrolled through those photos, my first thought was "Damn, that took forever!", but also "Why do I take so many blurry photos?"
I have this thing of shyness and unconfidence when taking photos. I think I'm in the way or something along those lines.
I never thought I'd be opening a new blog, and writing about this. I might just revamp my blog so that the pictures are linkable and that not only myself but others can open them and walk along my path while in Spain in 2011.
In the meantime, though it was a quick gander down memory lane, I think my focus has been captured elsewhere, but the main theme here is that I now have access to my old photos, what I do with them now. That's a project for another day.
